Hi, I’m Wendy Jones. Many of you know me as the former CEO and owner of Whodidily- a cupcake shop on Coast Village Road in Montecito. Over the past decade since choosing to close the shop, I have dedicated my time to my family. Now that my girls are a little older and becoming more independent, I’ve started baking for close friends and family again, but still get asked about my cupcakes and if they’re available for order, which is why I started Yodelayheehoo. I often joke that I broke up with cake and now, we’re dating again!
I started baking paleo because I wanted everyone to be invited to partake at the table. My heart was broken so many times hearing stories of children and adults who couldn't because of dietary restrictions. The past five years especially, I have developed recipes that are treasured by my own family. I am hoping to share these with so many that are disappointed with their current options.
I feel like Yodelayheehoo is the grown up version of Whodidily. I believe you should always learn, grow, develop and continue to embrace the evolving "you". At this time I am embracing the gift that I know was placed in my heart at birth. Ive decided that I’m not going to break up with cake again.
We are excited to bring new magic to the baked goods industry through loving people well by being transparent through clean ingredients in order to reach the hearts of every cake lover.
